Not shot with my trust cheap Canon 50mm lens, but with another lo-fi sort of solution – my HTC Droid Incredible cameraphone. It’s got nothing on even the cheapest point & shoot, but I was too damn lazy to pull out my DSLR at this wonderful wedding.

I like taking photos of people taking photos. These two Union-Square denizens laughed when they realized I did just that. Their happy moment was stolen with my cheap Canon 50mm 1.8 lens.

Foggy Highway

Okay this wasn’t shot with my beloved cheap-ass Canon 50mm lens – it was done on a plain-old Canon point and shoot. That keeps with the theme of this blog – that cheap gear can get the job done. This picture kind of gives me a headache though. Maybe I shouldn’t like it.
