I like taking photos of people taking photos. These two Union-Square denizens laughed when they realized I did just that. Their happy moment was stolen with my cheap Canon 50mm 1.8 lens.

I was kind of bummed out to see this kid get hauled away by the cops – but I’ll give credit to the NYPD here, they were actually very nice to him. I don’t know why I left the pigeons in the bottom. A sign of freedom maybe? Taken with my cheap Canon 50mm f/1.8.
